This Department established to teach engineering physics has grown into a research centre pursuing research activities in the areas of Crystal Growth, Nanotechnology, Thin film technology, spectroscopy, Ultrasonics, Electronics and Instrumentation. It offers the following programmes:

            All necessary equipment for the conduct of B.Sc., Physics Programme and engineering physics programme are available in the department.

                                    An association that proposes to promote Physics by organizing seminars, workshops, conferences, open interactions, science exhibitions, lectures on development of physics etc.,
