As a University, SASTRA has been re-accredited in the III cycle with a maximum GRADE A+ by National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC), an autonomous body established by the University Grants Commission. The Score of 3.54 puts SASTRA as the number one university in Tamilnadu and amongst the top in the country.
